Dr. Orvin J. Leis, DDS was born and raised in Elbow Lake, Minnesota. He received his Bachelor of Science in mathematics and chemistry from the University of Minnesota, Morris. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Minnesota School of Dentistry.

Dr. Leis is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Heartland Study Club (a part of the “university without walls” program through the Seattle Study Club), Minnesota Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and Minnesota Dental Association. He takes continuing educational courses to stay current in the industry.

Dr. Leis has served on the boards of Christ Lutheran Church, Tipsinah Mounds Golf Club, Grant County Sportmen, WCA Knights Basketball Boosters, and Elbow Lake Economic Development Association.

His hobbies include gardening, fishing, golfing and basketball. He and his wife Donna have raised their four children Jacob, Alexandra, Elizabeth and Jonathon in Elbow Lake.
